Es kann nicht angehen, dass ich hier als ehemaliger Wissenschaftler der Physikalisch Technischen Bundesanstalt oder am FZ Jülich wie eine Sumpfblume verlassen werde.

Äußert euch endlich substanziell Kollegen, Regierungen und auch Geheimdienste – ich zähle auf euch und werde die Welt nicht mit Paraglider und Propeller als kleiner semiprofessioneller Karlsson vom Dach retten.

Schreitet ein bei dem MIst, der hier und anderswo (Nanotechnik, … Wissenschaftsplanung generell) verzapft wird.

In einem schwarzen System (ich weiß nicht wie ich funktioniere als Mensch) darf nur weiß operiert werden, das heißt modi operandi müssen bekannt sein, ein Geheimdienst legt dem Parlament und der Öffentlichkeit seine Arbeitsweise offen. Ihr wißt, dass ich jeglichen “weißen Okkultismus” (offensichtlich Falsches am “hellichten Tage”) bekämpfen werde. Und das ist “jenseits von Paranoia” verehrtes Endoplast Team. Wir – die Kritiker – haben die lieben “schleichenden” Kollegen am CERN schlicht “ertappt”. Nicht auf frischer Tat sondern bislang “ex ante”. Daher: Alle Mann an Deck jetzt und “reinemachen” – macht den Saustall sauber schrubbt unser Schiff (die Erde). Folgt den Leuchttürmen (LHC concern) und rettet euch auf die Rettungsboote (lifeboat foundation). Es wurden die entscheidenden Schwächen genannt und das CERN ist nicht der LHC, es kann also weitergehen auf sichere Art und Weise.

Ich möchte den Wolken nachschauen und nicht ständig SOS funken.

wichtig sind mir – hier abschließend – folgende Dinge, da hier der LHC einige Male Thema war:

When I was on my way with a colleague direction Geneva it happened we took the wrong exit. Quickly we realized this malaise.

It would have been not useful if we would have not reacted – I turned on the navigation tool, we had to wait for the next exit and made the u-turn. Finally the mistake was corrected, some fuel was wasted but we continued our journey into the sunset versus Geneva and kept posture.

Why particle physics chose the “wrong exit” in our opinion?

- the community and society forgot to discuss the implications and safety of the experiments and theory for decades already

- to stress this branch of science concerning manpower and money in a situation of unresolved problems concerning infections or hunger relatively nearby is not advisable

- to prepare such enormous devices and experiments without reasonable knowledge of self (what is my relation to the outer world and which causal structure is important for me as human being?) and practically ivory-tower-like is not allowed

- sentences like the comment in the statutes of CERN not to strive for development of weapons are not sufficient – it has to be explained by which actions this is avoided and this has to be discussed

- apart from the missing knowledge of self epistemic leaks are obvious: Which experiments so far show strong evidence? Which experiments are preparations and which are naturally occuring? How should we construct theory which fits to human capabilities, is (to the best achievable extent) safe and useful? Can our achievement be integrated in the society and is understandable and solid? If there are strange objects like black holes seemingly present in the center of our galaxy or extremely high energetic cosmic collsions do we have to have fear and how can we explore those objects in a controllable way?

Those considearations are valid for the web as well – a second web with identification and better transparency seems advisable from my point of view for expert’s scientific publications. The normal web can be seen as playground and is useful for maps, schedules, product information and minor personal content in my opinion.

It was very helpful I have been welcomed by my colleagues and they provided this courtesy, I am content with the excellent “code of conduct” at CERN (rules how employees are expected to behave shown transparently and publicly).
The “code of conduct” to carefully regulate the “wrong exit” I described here and guarantuee proper and solid science is not so difficult – even in case some ballast would have already been accumulated:

- downshift your actions instead of upleveling

- care for good and reasonable comparability to natural processes

- take care for an independent assessment in case an experiment shall be carried out

- think about how to culture appropriate theory and applicability

- think about if it is o.k. just to say: at this point we do not advance further or try to get the information elsewhere (cosmic shower experiments for example)

- simplify and provide every participant with some basics about aims, safety, historical background, status quo and epistemic know-how

- if you are aware people get overstrained (do not talk about their work in a free spirit or things have to be shadowed more and more) adjust your projects to a reasonable human level

- do not expect too much and try to come along with sparse informations – example: You showed properly particle production is a resonant phenomenon. You can stop here for a moment and think about further implications instead of going higher and higher

- look whether your knowledge serves the society, is applicable and understandable by all

Interpretierbarkeit in der Tat Fehlanzeige – es muss ja auch nicht immer sein, Denkakrobatik nicht immer vonnöten

Das, was unmittelbar gelingt ist häufig gut, ich verhindere Verbiegungen und Stauchungen, nur leichte, meditative Denkbewegungen, so wie auch Schwimmübungen im Quellwasser, am Strande, so wie auch beim Tanzen

Es hängt damit zusammen, dass wir keine Roboter sind

ich stimme “Jenseits der Kritik” zu! Vorbeistehlen – ich denke ohne dass direkt ein Dieb beteiligt war – ist der rechte Begriff. Der Ring und “seine” crew keep circling… mit der Präzision (bis auf die schwierig zu beherrschende Supraleitung) eines schweizer Uhrwerks will ich ergänzen.

So interessant die Aufklärung der Gravitation auch ist – es gibt im Augenblick wichtigeres für “meine” Kollegen hier “auf Erden” soweit ich sehe.
